Accountability

This 50x50cm artwork is made in fused & kiln-carved glass designed and produced using a combination of handmade transparent and dichroic glass, in five layers. The top layer is engraved with financial terms and abbreviations, in common use in the Accounting profession.
The base is kiln-carved to produce both positive and negative forms, creating more depth and complexity to the design.
The concept for this glass artwork was inspired by the concept and elements of Accounting, such as numerals, symbols, graphs and currencies.
