Edition: 16. Printed in 1994 in 11 layers of ink, silica, varnishes and hand-finished with oil-paint and shoe polish.
Designed and printed for the 'Art of Typography' exhibition in Perth. This print explains the elements required to create the printed message - paper, ink and type. The base is a Californian hand-setting metal type font case, with typeface names, computer terminology, type specifications, quotations and graphic images depicting the development of type and printing.
