Basel

    
    Basel was inspired by the city of that name in Switzerland. A city where I spent my graduate years studying Graphics, also mainly in black and white. The city is very monochromatic, with predominate “colours” being black, white and grey, which also are the state and city colours and insignia. The use of mauve gives just a hint of real colour which lies within the city and Canton which emerges each Spring and Summer.
